Jesus taught us to pray for, love and bless our enemies. He taught us to be the servants of ALL. He taught that us that ‘pagans and corrupt tax collectors’ love those that love them; nothing distinctly “Christian” about that. He taught us that His image is hidden in the broken and the poor, and when we serve them, we serve Him. We should all be asking ourselves, “How would this poor, homeless Teacher REALLY want His birthday celebrated?”, because I have a growing suspicion that His vision for the holy days would be quite different than our own.
